When most people hear “Revelation,” they immediately think “end times.”

Are there end-times elements in the book of Revelation? Yes.

But what most people don’t consider is what Revelation meant to those who first received it. There is a historical context to Revelation. And it we don’t understand that context, we misunderstand and misinterpret what’s there.
